Miami Freshman Makes Connections

The Environmental ALI Annual reception was held last week and attending were Joseph Wilson, a freshman at Miami University, and Rich Cogen of Ohio River Foundation.

Staff at Environmental ALI had connected Joseph to a successful internship at Ohio River Foundation and that night Joseph was introduced to Tony Staubach of of the Ohio State University Extension Office. Now he’s in contact with Solomon Gamboa, CEO of Pioneer Landscapes. Solomon’s company uses environmental sustainable practices to restore natural habitats. Solomon also participated in our Green STEM Fair at Oyler School this past Spring (see below).
